One distribution API behind every storefront
Boxout IO is the middleware that connects Boxout’s e-commerce channels to the warehouse, the ERP, and the carriers. We designed and built a serverless platform where any storefront — Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce — can place an order, price it, reserve stock, and route it to fulfillment through a single API contract. One integration surface for a portfolio of brands.
One API, every storefront.
Boxout sells across a portfolio of brands and platforms. Boxout IO sits in the middle — a single contract that any storefront speaks, and a single pipe into the back office.

Middleware
Back office
From cart to carrier.
An order is not an event — it’s a lifecycle. Boxout IO enriches, prices, and routes every order through the same serverless pipeline before it ever reaches a warehouse.
Each stage is event-driven — a change in state triggers the next function, so the pipeline scales to zero between orders and never blocks.
What we built.
THE PLATFORM
boxout io
Multi-platform connectors
Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Magento, and 3DCart — every storefront served from one codebase and one contract.
Serverless by design
An event-driven, serverless architecture that scales to zero between orders and pays only for what it processes.
ERP & CRM integration
Purchase orders flow to the ERP as EDI; returns and RMAs are brokered through the CRM — no manual re-keying.
Multi-merchant, isolated
A portfolio of consumer brands, each configured and scoped independently on shared infrastructure — one platform, many storefronts.
Smart order routing
Every order routed to the best of multiple US warehouses — nearest stock, fewest splits — with per-state shipping and signature rules applied first.
One API surface
Every storefront and every warehouse speaks the same contract. New brands plug in; the back office never changes.
More from Boxout
